Teacher and Teaching Artist training -- click here to see a past example from my work as Executive Director at the Julia Morgan Center for the Arts when it was an affiliate of the Lincoln Center Institute for Arts in Learning from 2000 to 2006. Through my Creative Education Institute, teachers and artists still engage in classroom arts integration by studying live works of art.

San Francisco Circus Center - Board of Directors. 2007-2008
Facilitate public meetings with extended community to address unresolved tensions following major transition. Create customized process for strategic planning, including dialogue with staff, faculty, students, volunteers, board and others. Produce strategic plan with clear goals and supporting implementation strategies with Interim Executive Director.
Youth Enrichment Strategies - Executive Director and Board of Directors. 2009-2010
Design and facilitate strategic planning process including Creating Public Value community meetings, focused group conversations, research, and analysis. Facilitate board retreat to define mission and set long-term strategic objectives.
Contra Costa County Family Physicians Leadership Group 2008-2009
With group leaders, design and facilitate process for group decision-making, including protocols for identifying and following through with competing priorities. Through facilitate dialog and workshops, create strategic plan with clear mission and actionable goals.
Livermore Arts Commission - Newly created commission with newly appointed commissioners
Design and facilitate process to create mission statement and strategic objectives. Ensure consensus building and sufficient exploration of potentially divisive issues. Prepare commission to approach and guide a community-based strategic planning process conducted by outside consultants. Facilitate final approval of strategic plan.

Opera Piccola Board of Directors - transitional board confronting significant staff turnover and internal administrative challenges. Create processes and protocols to re-organize and prioritize opportunities. Lead process for recruiting and hiring an Interim Executive Director and support IED through transition to the organization's first executive director.
